HISTORY
Commercial Consulting And Appraisal Services, LLC. was originally formed at the very beginning of 2019. However, Tim Stotenbur is a Certified General Appraiser in Michigan, and has been appraising commercial real estate since 2005. He began his career working with other appraisers, who helped him develop a good foundation of knowledge in a wide range of property types. By working with other certified general appraisers, Mr. Stotenbur was exposed to different ways of approaching appraisal methodology.
Since 2005, Mr. Stotenbur went on to take several appraisal classes and learned more about litigation appraisal services, arbitration, and mediation. He also learned more about complex property analysis, appraising apartments, retail buildings, industrial buildings, self-storage facilities, and other properties.
Prior to appraising, Tim was a small business manager and was employed in the construction industry. He was a certified Sto (EIFS) applicator, applied stucco, and was a journeyman plasterer. He worked on high-rise buildings in Florida, the Wayne Densch building in Sandford, Florida, and helped renovate several homes. Mr. Stotenbur volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul in the Lansing Area for a while, and brought groceries to those in need on several occasions.
Mr. Stotenbur excelled in college and was accepted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars upon graduation. His education for appraising real estate is current in the State of Michigan. He continues to stay informed of current appraisal practices and procedures as they may develop.
