Depending on the case, we offer an hourly rate or a flat rate. We count in ten minute increments and round down when in-between them. Work logs will be disclosed to all clients upon the completion of an assignment case. We only work for as long as an assignment requires, so you’ll never be over billed for unproductive time. Most assignments will have a minimum fee. Final bills will include costs for copy, filing, messengers/delivery, and third-party research tools. Appraisal rates vary and depend on the complexity of the assignment. Generally, 50% of the fee is due at the beginning of the assignment for non-lender work (private assignments). The remaining balance is due prior to delivery of the report. Although the office hours provided are between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, we do work and make appointments and inspect properties at other times. If you don’t reach us in person, please leave a message.
